Healing Touch
According to Healing Touch International, Inc., “Healing Touch
is a relaxing, nurturing energy therapy. Gentle touch assists in
balancing your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual
well-being. Healing Touch works with your energy field to
support your natural ability to heal. It is safe for all ages
and works in harmony with standard medical care.” Some of the
benefits you may experience include a reduction in anxiety,
depression, stress, pressure, and pain, a deeper spiritual
connection and clarity, and an overall increase in sense of
well-being. Healing Touch is a Western modality and was
developed by Janet Mentgen RN in 1989. A Healing Touch therapist
is trained and certified to assess and treat individuals using
this method. During a session, you can expect to lie on a
comfortable table, in a quiet room, fully clothed, while the
therapist uses very gentle touch to achieve results. Multiple
sessions are recommended to achieve the best results. |
